The survey published this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport , highlighted that even Inter and Milan fans would not want San Siro to be demolished, espousing the cause that the municipality of Milan has been carrying out for some time. Another obstacle, therefore, towards the popularity of the two projects that more than a month ago the two clubs had publicly presented at a press conference at the Polytechnic of Bovisa.
One year after the announcement by Inter and Milan on the desire to build a new stadium together, the future remains uncertain, as highlighted in the La Gazzetta dello Sport special this morning. If on November 9th last year the two clubs had initially evaluated the possibility of restructuring San Siro , with some in-depth analysis they had to change their minds soon. From here, the path that led to last July when the 750 pages of the feasibility project of a new San Siro with 60-65 thousand seats were deposited in the Municipality with the construction of a new district dedicated to families that would have included the demolition del Meazza.
Last October, then, the official presentation of Inter and Milan of the two projects taken into consideration and submitted to the people's judgment: the Cathedral which recalls the spiers of the Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, completely eco-sustainable and surrounded by a façade of glass; the Rings of Milan, the stadium that has two rings that cross and symbolize the teams with the charm of preserving the Meazza lawn and making it a public park.
The municipality, however, in the figure of the mayor Giuseppe Sala, does not bend. Despite the ok before the city council and then the public interest for the construction of the new plant, among the many stakes imposed on the two companies there is the impossibility of demolishing the current San Siro. Of the very heavy conditions that disappoint not just both Inter and Milan that hot they say: "We will evaluate if to go ahead". A few days later, they asked the Municipality for explanations. Yesterday's answer opens a new chapter: the meetings with the companies will be decisive.
