The Municipality of Milan gave its conditional yes to the construction of the new stadium. Inter and Milan are facing a phase of dialogue with Palazzo Marino which has called for the re-functionalization of San Siro. The initial idea was to break it down and now everything revolves around the current plant.
The parties will find themselves talking about it surely and that remains the most current issue of the question: we want to keep the Meazza stadium in place and to discuss its possible sporting functions in a new project. The two clubs know that there are no set times to move from presenting ideas to feasibility. Plan B remains the construction of a new plant in Sesto San Giovanni but for the moment it is a hypothesis that all the parties want to prevent. Meanwhile a technical-political commission has been organized to manage this delicate interlocutory phase.
