Inter Campus and Carlo Riva, Director of the Non-Profit Association, were guests in New York for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities . Below are the words of Riva and the report of the visit
DREAM – Inter Campus and Carlo Riva hosted by the UN in New York. The director of the Association Onlus states: « Every child has a dream. The dream of playing long, with many friends, to have fun and discover the world. We believe that every child with or without disabilities should play and live in an educational context. If a child does not play, that child cannot develop his emotional, physical and cognitive ability. If a child with a disability does not play, his disability is bound to increase. Disability is not a disease. Disability is a human condition. That is why that child is first and foremost a child and must play like all children do because this is the most important way for inclusion for him. It is the opportunity for children to be together, with their different identities, to play with their abilities or difficulties, to communicate on an individual or group basis. This is what real inclusion is made of ».
VISIT – The Inter Campus delegation then continued the visit: "At the end of the assembly, the visit of the Nerazzurri delegation to the Italian Permanent Representation to the United Nations followed and the meeting with S tefano Stefanile Ambassador Deputy Permanent Representative".
